Batteries in these models amply the ring and make the flash stronger. Ring goes up to 50 – 70 dB with batteries.
Q: Cannot remove battery cover
A: Battery cover on bottom section of back of phone. Long rectangular bar. A small screw driver or pin will need to be used in the hole to lever battery cover off.
Q1: Are the batteries required to store the numbers?
A1:No, batteries only operate ringer.
Older version CL100 has BLUE buttons. If batteries removed AND line removed this wipes the memory.
In newer version buttons ar BLACK. Software updated. Will retain stored numbers even if batteries removed and line removed.
