Geemarc Telecom helped to guide Councillors blindfolded around Saffron Walden town using its STEP-HEAR product.
One of our customers set a challenge for their local councillors to find out for themselves how difficult it is to walk their local streets when you have a sight impairment. The Chairman for Essex County Council Kate Twitchen and Mayor for Saffron Walden amongst many other councillors attended to take up the challenge!
They were blindfolded or wore simulated glasses and were guided using STEP-HEAR.
Everyone using the STEP-HEAR system could understand and realise the value of having information available at strategic points to orientate and guide them.
